Campground Rules and Regulation

Whale Creek is a privately owned campground. We strive to make it a safe place for families to relax, enjoy nature and share family time. The following rules and regulations have been put in place to ensure the help keep the campground comfortable, clean and safe for everyone. Due to concerns related to Covid 19, Whale Creek Campsite will be following all protocols set out by the Nova Scotia Government and the Nova Scotia Health Authority. All campers are required to be aware of the provincial regulations and abide by them. 

1. Gate will be closed at all times. There will be no through traffic.

2. All day visitors must pre-register and park outside the gate and walk in.

3. Children are playing. Drive Slow.

4. No Drinking and Driving through the campground.

5. Quiet Time is 11pm. All visitors are to leave the grounds by 11pm.

6. Overnight visitors must register at the office and will be charged accordingly.

7. One vehicle per site. No parking along the road or in empty campsites.

8. No ATVs allowed.

9. All pets must be kept on leash at all times. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets anywhere on the grounds and on the beach.

10.Campfires must be kept in barrels. Do not burn plastics or food waste. Campfires will be banned when the Nova Scotia Burn Safe Map is RED. CSA appliances and propane fire bowls will be permitted. 

11. No camping allowed on the beach.

12. No car/ trailer or boat washing.

13. Showers will be closed from 10pm- 7am nightly. Flush toilets will remain opened.

14. No washing/ cleaning fish at the campsites. Do not leave fish entails in the garbage containers of littered on the beach.

15. Place garbage in barrels and recycle bottles and plastics.

16. Canoeing and Kayaking are permitted, however Power Boat Launches are restricted to Seasonal Campers Only.


Whale Creek is a privately owned campground and the management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. We cannot assume responsibility for accidents, injury, lost or stolen property.
